CLE-Texas will hold an open house in June for special needs students interested in attending college this fall.

Austin, Texas, May 25, 2006 – College Living Experience-Texas will hold an open house in June for special needs students interested in attending college this fall.

CLE-Texas is a comprehensive program that provides intensive assistance with academic, independent living and social skills to college-bound students with ADD, Asperger’s Syndrome and other learning disabilities. Students will live in an apartment complex across from the CLE office and student center in North Austin while taking classes at either Austin Community College, the University of Texas, St. Edwards University or Concordia University.

CLE serves students with language, emotional, maturational and learning differences by providing highly individualized support to complement a students’ education goals. CLE staff provides tutoring, mentoring and assistance to ensure students succeed academically, socially and in their daily-living situations.

The CLE-Texas open house is scheduled for Wednesday, June 14, from 4-7 p.m. at 11800 Stonehollow Drive, Austin. D.J. Powers, the director of CLE-Texas, will be on hand with his staff to answer questions about CLE and provide tours of the center and apartments where students will live.
