Frank Castellano Joins ESA as Director of Broach South

Jacksonville, Fla., October 4, 2006 – Frank Castellano has joined Educational Services of America as the director of Broach South in Jacksonville, Fla.

In his new role, Castellano will be responsible for leadership of the 300-student school, which provides highly personalized programs for children in grades 1-12 with learning disabilities. This fall, Broach South also add a Spectrum Center program to serve the needs of students challenged by autism and related disorders.

In addition to Broach South, ESA owns and operates 26 campuses in Florida under the names of Atlantis Academy, Broach Schools, Crossroads Schools and others. As the nation’s leading private provider of special, alternative and post-secondary educational programs, ESA owns and operates more than 100 schools and programs in 16 states.

Castellano brings nearly four decades of educational experience to his new position. Prior to joining ESA, he served as principal for a number of Jacksonville schools, including Ramona Elementary, Lakeshore Middle, Paxon High, Kings Trail Elementary and Highlands Elementary.

Castellano has served two terms of president of Duval County Elementary School Principals and was recognized as Outstanding Community School Principal by the county. He is also an honorary life member of the Florida Congress of Parents and Teachers.

A certified professional educator, Castellano is qualified to serve at all levels as a principal. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from St. Francis College in Brooklyn, New York, and a master’s degree in teaching from Jacksonville University in Florida.

A native of New York, Castellano now resides in Jacksonville.
