ESA hosts fall breakfast for California Superintendent of Public Instruction, Jack O'Connell
Posted on October 30, 2006Spectrum Center Schools, a service division of Educational Services of America, was pleased to host a breakfast this fall for Jack O’Connell, the California Superintendent of Public Instruction. More than a dozen people attended the breakfast and had the chance to discuss a number of issues with Superintendent O’Connell, including No Child Left Behind, Highly Qualified Teachers standards and rate-setting mechanisms for services.
Those who attended the event included: Alvin Allgood, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of ESA; Jim Horne, the former Commissioner of Education for the State of Florida who is now with the Horne Group; Pam Raymond, Executive Director of Spectrum Center; Superintendent O’Connell; John McLaughlin, Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer of ESA; Patrick Campbell, former Department of Education Administrator and former Superintendent of West Sacramento Public Schools; and Ben Wallerstein with Dutko Worldwide.
